Riley’s Bold Journey of Lust and Liberation
- Prologue: Broken Mirrors and Blacktop
Riley Kane stood in the dim garage bay for the last time, the scent of motor oil and old concrete clinging to her skin like a second layer. At thirty-two, she had finally signed the divorce papers that ended eight years of slow suffocation. Her ex-husband’s voice still echoed in her head—always questioning her choices, her body, her needs—until the words had worn her down to someone she barely recognized. Today, that woman disappeared.
She sold nearly everything. The little house, most of the furniture, even the dresses she never wore. What remained fit into two duffel bags and a heavy toolbox. With the cash, she bought a solid used Kenworth, midnight blue with chrome that caught the late afternoon sun. She named it Siren the same hour she drove it off the lot. The name felt right—powerful, tempting, impossible to ignore.

A top-tier CB radio went in next, its microphone heavy in her palm. She tested the horn once, letting the deep blast roll across the empty yard like a challenge.
On her final night in Chicago, Riley walked through the silent garage one last time. Her fingers trailed over the workbench where she had fixed countless engines and hidden her frustrations. The old life felt like a rearview mirror—small, distant, already fading. She locked the door without looking back.
Dawn broke cool and clear as she climbed into Siren’s cab. The big diesel rumbled to life beneath her, vibrating through the seat and up her thighs. Riley adjusted the mirrors, cracked the windows, and let the wind tug at her sun-streaked ponytail. She slipped the rig into gear and pulled onto the interstate ramp.
The city shrank behind her. Open road stretched ahead, endless and alive. Heat gathered low in her belly—not from any man, but from the pure thrill of choosing her own direction at last. Her lips curved into a slow, private smile as the tires ate up the miles.
This was only the beginning.
- Chapter 1: Storm Warnings
The big diesel throbbed steadily under Riley as the sky bruised dark ahead of her. Rain had begun as a hesitant…
