Primal Canvas Unseen: Heat Beneath the Lights - by Diana Piner

Liora Vale’s paintings have never burned brighter. Critics praise their raw, almost animal vitality. Collectors lean closer. A major city gallery offers her a solo exhibition that could change everything. She brings her German Shepherd, Rex, under the polite fiction of an emotional-support animal. Behind locked doors and half-drawn curtains, the truth is far more primal. Every public smile, every compliment on the work, tightens the private heat she carries between her thighs. The silk dresses hide the marks. The city lights watch through uncurtained glass. Risk itself becomes the sharpest aphrodisiac. As an old lover circles and a sharp-eyed critic begins to ask the wrong questions, the boundary between the woman the art world sees and the woman who drops to her knees the moment the door locks grows dangerously thin. One night, with the after-party still in full swing, that boundary nearly shatters.
