Sombra Ignis

They were ready for the end of the world. They weren't ready for what came after. When chronic wasting disease jumps from deer to man, the dead start walking — and Marcus Hale and Ivy Sloane, preppers in the Maine woods, bug out one week too late. With their truck dead at the foot of Katahdin, they take to the Appalachian Trail on foot: 2,190 miles through a country learning new ways to die. The dead are changing. Packs that hunt together. The starved that run. The drowned that wait in still water. Things that glow. Things that burn. And in an abandoned research station, a dead scientist's letter names them all — nine classes catalogued, and a tenth entry burned off the page. SOMBRA IGNIS is a 68,000-word erotic horror novel — a love story written in shadow and fire, about two people who refuse to let the dark have them.
