The following evening, the farmhands' footsteps fade into the distance as they head home for the night. Albert knocks gently on Chloe's door, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. "Chloe, your aunt and I have been invited to the Harvest Festival. It's quite the shindig, you know. Would you like to come with us?" His question hangs in the air, the silence thick with the anticipation of her response.

Chloe's thoughts race as Uncle Albert's invitation filters through the haze of her desire. The festival... the perfect cover for what she truly craves. She swallows hard, her hand lingering over the doorknob. "I'll... I'll stay here and take care of the animals," she calls out, her voice a little too eager. She can't hide the smoldering need in her eyes as she thinks of Thunder. The opportunity to be alone with the stallion sends a shiver down her spine, her body remembering the power she felt with Lucky. "I'll be fine," she adds, her voice a soft promise to herself. "See you when you get back." The door clicks shut, sealing her fate for the night.

Chloe watches from her bedroom window as the taillights of her aunt and uncle's car recede into the distance. The darkness of the night is her ally, her heart pounding in her chest like a wild drum. As the farm falls quiet, she feels a strange sense of freedom, a wildness unfurling within her. The thought of Thunder, his powerful body and commanding presence, sends a fresh wave of arousal through her. She takes a deep breath, the cool air filling her lungs, and turns away from the window. The house is quiet, the only sound the steady tick of the clock downstairs, a silent sentinel to the night's secrets.

Dressed in a loose, flimsy dress that clings to her damp skin, Chloe tiptoes down the stairs, her hand sliding along the wooden banister.
