Isabella's Son

My bedroom looked more like a makeshift lab than a place for sleep or sex. I had laid the conductive patches out in a fan around the foot of the bed, the TENS unit gleaming under the white lamp I’d angled to reduce shadows and maximize visibility. The bar, my own little innovation, ran horizontally from the wall at waist height, the entire length a seamless stainless-steel rod, its surface gleaming with promise. I wiped it again, not that it needed it, but I liked the routine. I liked that my hands knew what to do, that everything had a place and was in it.

The mirror in the closet door caught my reflection as I worked. I’d selected the dark blue dress specifically for tonight—high neck, sleeveless, contouring every inch of my body, stopping just below the knee. It was conservative in all the places that counted and almost indecent in the way it advertised my hips and ass, their curve made severe by the cinch of the thin black belt at my waist. My hair was in a tight ponytail. Some days I let it loose, an orange curtain down my back, but not for this. Tonight was about focus, control, and precision. Not display.

I checked the time: 8:59. I heard his footsteps in the hall before the minute turned over. A small smile, a tightening of my lips, and I sat on the edge of the bed, crossing my legs and smoothing my skirt over my thigh. I did not have to wait long. He entered at exactly nine, as trained.

He hesitated for half a breath, eyes darting over the array of equipment, before locking onto me. He was taller than me by a foot, which made his nervousness all the more endearing, and naked except for the gym shorts I’d allowed him. Not a single mark on his skin, yet, though his pale body bore the slight flush of anticipation, the heat rising up his neck.

“Close the door,” I said. My tone was level, quiet, but unambiguous. He obeyed instantly. I watched him turn, the line of his shoulder blade shifting under his skin, the precise articulation of muscle and bone. He’d been working out, as I’d instructed. I liked that he didn’t try to speak. He had learned, after so many months, that silence was safer.

“Strip,” I said. He pulled his shorts down with no ceremony, letting them fall around his ankles and stepping out, standing at attention with his hands at his sides, eyes fixed on the floor. His cock was already half hard, but I ignored it.

“On the mat.” I inclined my head to the black yoga mat in the center of the room, the one I’d aligned exactly parallel to the bar. He moved, his feet barely making a sound. I followed with my eyes, the way his body moved, awkward, adolescent, but with a strength he did not yet know how to wield. I knew precisely how to wield it. He stood on the mat and looked to me for further instruction.

“Down. Palms flat, downward dog, legs wide.” He did as told, bending, the muscles of his legs taut, arms bracing. The pose exposed him, the soft curve of his ass in the air, his cock and balls hanging loose and helpless. I let the silence stretch.

“This is the pose for tonight,” I said, standing and moving in front of him, the click of my heels precise against the wood. “You will hold it until I say otherwise. You may not move without permission. If you lose the pose, you will be corrected. Understood?”

“Yes, ma’am,” he said. His voice shook a little. I had to repress a sigh of satisfaction.

I retrieved the first set of patches, snapping the wire connectors in place with the efficiency of a nurse prepping for EKG leads. “There is no negotiation over the rules,” I said, kneeling behind him. “You don’t come. Not unless I say. If you even look like you’re close, you tell me. I don’t want a mess.”

“I understand.”

“Good. Spread your legs more.”

He did, and I pressed the first pair of patches high on his inner thighs, just below the crease where leg met hip. The adhesive was cold at first, ...
